Inside the large, soft, and comfy cage, nestled a white and soft rabbit.
It was deep in slumber but its pink three petal mouth was quivering gently like it was having a restless sleep.

It was unknown what it was dreaming of but the rabbit’s round body began to tremble.
Its bleary eyes opened as it flailed its two paws, revealing the pink paw pads on them.

Yin YiLiu tightly squeezed her eyes, fighting to wake up from the nightmare.
The sinister-looking beast in her dream lunged toward her to bite off her head.
Her entire body trembled in fear as her eyes flew open.

Her mind was still in a haze right now.
She looked around the foreign environment and wanted to stretch her body but when she moved her arms, she felt that something was amiss.

Her arms were too short.
Looking down, she saw a pair of plump and furry white arms.
Her slender hands had also been replaced with a pair of pink paws.

Her mind was still a bit sluggish at this moment, She tried to speak only to hear a soft squeaking sound coming out of her mouth.
She felt as if she had been struck by lightning, the entire world had just turned into a fantasy.

It was at this moment she noticed that in front of her was a row of metal bars.
She seemed to be trapped inside a cage.

What is going on? Last night she had been reading a novel until three in the morning when she couldn’t persist anymore and had drifted off to sleep.
Who knew when she woke up she would be greeted with a foreign environment and she herself had also become a freak of nature.

Yin YiLiu saw that there was a full-length mirror across the room and inched towards it.
There was no one reflected in it except for a spacious luxury brand pet cage and in the cage was a soft and white rabbit.

Her heart raced, a thought formed in her head but she quickly dispelled it.

However, when she moved her paw, the rabbit in the mirror also foolishly raised its paw.
She suddenly felt despair.

She had really become a rabbit!

While Yin YiLiu was at a complete loss, a ‘ding’ noise suddenly sounded in her head.
Innumerable fragment pieces coalesced in her sea of consciousness,

When she regained her composure, her feelings were very complicated.
She never thought transmigration–something that only occurred in novels–would happen to herself.

She had transmigrated into a novel and it was the doomsday novel that she had finished reading after staying up all of last night.

The female lead in the novel was someone who had rebirthed.
In her last life, she died pitifully when doomsday came but in this life, she assisted the male lead with her golden finger, the two of them slaying monsters and leveling-up without any help from others.

However, in the novel, the setting for the big villain was too powerful, causing the male and female leads to suffer defeat after defeat while constantly being endangered.
The villain had suffered a lot before doomsday, his legs had been crippled in a man-made car accident orchestrated by his enemies.
Later on when his injuries were healed during doomsday, for some reason he kept going against the leads.
By the late period of the novel, there were more readers who liked the villain than the leads.

When the author realized the collapse of the plot, the author directly wrote the villain to death and called it a day, causing the readers to feel both devastated and angered.
Yin YiLiu was one of them.

Her favorite character had always been the powerful but gentle villain.
When she pulled an all-nighter to finish the novel only to be met with such an ending, she had been incomparably angry, causing her to post consecutive ranting comments right afterward.
Then when she opened her eyes today, she had transmigrated.

And at the same time, she also knew what her mission was.

Only by helping the villain counterattack and preventing his death would she be able to return to her original world.

Yin YiLiu was a bit discouraged.
If she had transmigrated into a side character, things would be easier no matter how small of a role she had in the novel.
However, she was now a rabbit, how would she be able to help the villain counterattack like this.

She knew that in the novel’s doomsday setting, organisms would generally become larger and their attack power would also increase.
Their unique characteristics would become tools for attacking and capturing small-sized animals and humans for food.

Right now the only thing she can do is pray that she will also mutate and become a mega strong rabbit so she can survive during the early periods of doomsday and carry the villain as they flee for their lives.
Then when the villain awakened in the later period, she would be able to hug a golden thigh and live well.

As Yin YiLiu was submerged in her fantasies, she heard the sound of the door opening.
Immediately she acted as an obedient rabbit, laying quietly in the haystack as she tried to see what her owner looked like.

As the door was opened from the outside, a table obstructing her view so she was unable to see what the person looked like.
She only saw the tip of the other’s head.

Her owner’s height was so short, maybe it’s a kid?

However, when the person slowly entered Yin YiLiu’s vision, she finally understood.

The youth’s complexion was a bit wan but he was extremely handsome with a pair of phoenix eyes that was still like the waters in an ancient well.
He sat in a wheelchair and controlled the remote so it moved forward slowly.
Yin YiLiu had never seen someone so handsome before, even the celebrities on television cannot compare.

The instant she saw the man, a name popped into her head: Jin Yang.

The omnipotent big villain in the doomsday novel and the person she needs to help counterattack.
Currently, he looked frail and sickly sitting in the wheelchair, there wasn’t much vitality in him at all.

He made a turn in the spacious and empty room, controlling the remote so he arrived in front of the rabbit cage.
He stooped down and opened the cage.

As Jin Yang got closer, Yin YiLiu got an enlarged view of the handsome face that she previously could only fantasize about.
When that pair of good-looking eyes landed on herself, it was like she was meeting her beloved.

Her heart thumped loudly, deathly afraid that Jin Yang would notice something amiss.

But why would Jin Yang pay that much attention to a rabbit? His slender and jade-like hand grabbed some fodder and placed it into the empty bowl inside the cage, “Eat ba.”

The man’s voice was very attractive, after hearing it, Yin YiLiu’s weak rabbit heart started to thump again.

Jin Yang looked at the foolish-looking rabbit inside the cage and furrowed his brows.
Normally, before he can even put the fodder into the cage, the little guy would’ve already started to squeak anxiously while fiercely pouncing forward to nibble the food.
Did it not have any appetite today?

He saw that the white rabbit had its head downcast, its entire body seemed to be lacking vigor.
After thinking for a moment, he picked up the rabbit by its furry back and placed it onto his legs.

Yin YiLiu only felt someone grabbing her back.
The next instant, her entire rabbit body went soaring into the air.
It was more stimulating than riding a rollercoaster.
Before she could react, she felt herself landing on a pair of sturdy thighs.

She was a bit unaccustomed.
From the man’s pants, the pleasant scent of laundry detergent wafted into her nose, pulling her into a daze.
Her soft paws unconsciously thumped a few times.
When she snapped out of it, she raised her head and saw Jin Yang staring at her.
Instantly, her paws froze.

Wait, what is she being alarmed for.
Right now she was just a rabbit.

Indeed, Jin Yang didn’t feel that anything was amiss, he only thought that the rabbit was unusually well-behaved today.
His finger gently scratched the rabbits head and back as he picked up the phone on the table with his free hand.

Yin YiLiu felt her hair standing on end but had nowhere to run from the big hand patting her.
What the heck? It’s not like she was a real rabbit!

Wait…it kind of felt nice…

Just as she was about to squeak from comfort, she heard the man above her talking into the phone, saying: “Where are you fooling around at this time?”

The person on the other side of the phone sounded like a smiling young woman, “Brother, what are you talking about.
Aren’t I working hard right now? Don’t feel too lonely, tomorrow I’ll definitely come home for New Year!”

“Did you dismiss all the helpers in the house and told them to go back for the New Year…” The girl asked.

As Yin YiLiu rubbed her head against the big palm above her, she thought, it turns out Jin Yang had a younger sister.

But why wasn’t she mentioned in the novel?

When he appeared in the later half, he was always by himself.
His strength was heaven-defying and he was hell-bent on dooming the male and female lead to death.
If it wasn’t for the almighty protagonist halo, they would’ve long been offed by Jin Yang.

At this moment, Yin YiLiu heard the person above her say: “Be careful on the road, the fog has been getting increasingly thicker recently.”

Fog!

Yin YiLiu recalled that in the novel, doomsday started with a thick fog covering the entire sky.
In the fog, organisms will start to mutate, and when the fog dissipates, the world has already been turned upside down.

Standing on top of Jin Yang’s leg, she stood on her hindlegs and looked outside the window.
As expected, the outside was covered in a white layer of fog.
Through the fog, she saw the shrouded sun, it was crimson, like a drop of blood.

Yin YiLiu stared blankly as the white, smoke like fog from outside slowly entered the room through the crack in the window.

Jin Yang also felt it.
Gripping the phone, his stomach clenched and suddenly he couldn’t breathe.

Unknown when, the phone on the other side had already hung up.
The room was deathly still.

In an instant, Yin YiLiu knew doomsday had already started.
No wonder, she was thinking why she was able to hear the conversation so well when the phone wasn’t even put on speaker.
It seemed like her body had already started mutating.

At this moment, she heard a soft, trembling noise.
She lifted her head and saw the fish tank on the table shaking.
The tropical fish inside bashed against the glass wildly as its body suddenly became twice as big.

When the fish tank was shattered, Yin YiLiu’s heart almost leaped out of her chest.
Like in slow motion, she watched as the fat fish broke through the glass tank and swung its tails at Jin Yang.
The fish’s mouth was full of sharp and fine teeth.

She didn’t think further.
She leaped and ruthlessly slapped the fish with her pink and fleshy paws.
She heard a “bam” sound and the ferocious plump fish went flying.
It fell to the floor and flopped twice before ceasing to move.

Yin YiLiu was dumbfounded.
She lifted her rabbit paws in front of her in wonder, this was done by her paws?

She squeaked happily.
If she was this strong then what is there to be afraid of in doomsday! She hopped around on Jin Yang’s thighs while squeaking proudly.

Big thigh, I’ll protect you!

When she looked up, she saw that the originally pale man was even paler now.
All the muscles in his body were tensed.
Yin YiLiu felt the thighs underneath her tremble incessantly.
She panicked.

What’s happening, is Jin Yang mutating?!

Her guess was spot on.
A thick mist shrouding the sky enveloped the entire Earth.
At this moment, the sky was caged behind a layer of mist, if a satellite were to take a picture of Earth right now, the entire Earth would be white.

Signals were cut off by the fog.
Facilities began to fail and at the same time, organisms exposed to the fog started to mutate.

The first to mutate were the plants and animals.
The cries of insects sounded incessantly and vegetations went wild.
The humans heading home to celebrate the New Year were unaware of the situation.
Amidst the fog, they complained about the loss of signal as they poked at their phones.

There was a loud “thud” sound and Jin Yang fell to the floor, his body curled up.
Yin YiLiu was worried to the extreme but her five senses were currently undergoing rapid mutation.
Her pink paws rested on top of Jin Yang’s skin and felt a temperature hot enough to roast a rabbit.

Jin Yang was starting to mutate.
No one knew how long his mutation would take.

Yin YiLiu saw many doomsday films before.
She knew that if society collapsed, the restrictions called law and morality will also fall.
Everything will become a mess.

Jin Yang was alone by himself.
If he slept for a seven to eight days, who knows if someone would break in during the middle or not.

Thinking up to here, Yin YiLiu felt that this room wasn’t safe enough.

She jumped onto the window in one leap.
There was no time to marvel over her leg strength, she jumped and turned the window’s handle, wanting to go outside to scout the situation first.

When she landed outside, the thick fog became even more smothering.
It felt like she was wading through white broth.
Yin YiLiu felt her heartbeat quicken.
It seemed like this white fog was the cause for the mutations.

At first, she was unable to see anything clearly.
However, gradually her vision became clearer and clearer, until there was no obstruction whosoever.

She knew that her eyes had rapidly mutated because of the white fog, however, this was a good thing.

Yin YiLiu moved about cautiously and discovered that Jin Yang’s house was alarmingly big.
Around the villa there was actually a fake mountain and man-made lake.

She leaped onto the bridge and looked downward.
As expected, the goldfishes in the lake had all become bigger along with an increase in ferocity with their personalities.

Behind the fake mountain, she found the entrance to the basement.
Immediately, she thought of hiding Jin Yang in here, this way even if someone broke into the house, they wouldn’t think there’s still someone hiding here.

Then it’s decided.
Yin YiLiu placed her front paws on the basement door and kicked her hindlegs.
The basement door was pushed open.
Gray dust settled on her originally snow-white coat.

She didn’t dare to dally.
She hopped back to the room.
At this moment, Jin Yang had completely fallen into a coma, free for anyone to treat him as they pleased.
She bit onto the man’s collar and pulled him outside.

If someone witnessed this scene, they would certainly find it to be comical.
An adult man was being dragged around by a rabbit who’s not even the size of his head as the rabbit clumsily carried him outside.

Pulling Jin Yang behind the fake mountain, Yin YiLiu let out a sigh of relief.
Thankfully her front teeth had evolved to be sturdy and the basement wasn’t deep.
But by the time she was on the last flight of stairs, Jin Yang’s entire body was covered in filth and his brows were furrowed in discomfort.
Yin YiLiu felt a bit guilty when she looked at Jin Yang.

She saw that the man’s handsome face was covered in sweat, like he was about to be baked alive.

There’s no helping it.
So Jin Yang wouldn’t die of dehydration, she reckoned she should find him something to eat and drink.

Big golden thigh ah, big golden thigh.
Please, mutate well and don’t die.
I’m still waiting to sweep the doomsday world with you!
