”Is it ok for me to come? ” Om asked hesitantly. As an orphan, people would keep his food outside of their houses to eat.

Om washed his legs outside and went in as it was believed washing legs was seen as leaving curses and filth outside the house by his country people before entering any house.

As soon as he went in, he sat on the floor as a habit.

”Why are you sitting there? Sit on the dining table, ” said the old man.

Om wasn bothered by the fact that he was eating in a strangers house because he ate in other peoples homes most of the time.

”Grandpa, do you live here alone? ” Om asked.

”Yes. ”

Om wanted to have a conversation, but due to his one-word answer, he felt a little reluctant. ”Do you know why we are here? ”

Even though it was a virtual world, Om treated it as if it was another world because, as an orphan, he craved kindness, even if it was as simple as giving food and speaking properly.

The old man looked at the plate, unable to look into Oms eyes; it seemed he had some guilt inside his heart. ”This land is filled with dangerous monsters, and the kingdom couldn handle them. So they summoned heroes from another world.

They finished eating, and Om took the plates and bowls to clean.

”Stop. ” Hosam took the plates from Oms hands. ”You are a guest. So I can let you do this. You must have many things to do outside. So go out and finish what you should. ”

”But I want to help. ” Om insisted.

Those words made Hosam ponder for a few seconds as he slowly closed his eyes. Then he opened them and said, ”You can go. I don need help. I am used to it. You don know this, but every morning, I bring wood from the forest to use. ”

Om went to grind rabbits again.

As he predicted, the rabbit tried to deflect the stab, but he moved his hands down so that the rabbits palm passed above the sword and the sword stabbed directly into its heart.

”I am sorry I took your prey, but you seemed to be chased by it, so its fine, right? ” He was so polite that the girls felt like he was showing his anger sarcastically.

”No, we are thankful for saving us twice, and we are sorry that we are following you. ” The girl bowed down with her hands in front of her. The other two girls bowed as well.

”You are following me? ”

They confirmed it with the doubt in his voice. Crap! He didn know?

One girl properly explained that they followed him from Hosams house, and while they were spying on him, the black and white rabbit attacked them from behind.

They had intentions of joining his party, but as his eyes were scary, they felt reluctant to ask.

To their surprise, Om immediately agreed to form a party, as he also wanted to hunt with others like how other parties were hunting.

”Are you sure, sir? We are just starting today, so we won be much help, ” said a girl, ”oh! Where are my manners? My name is… ”

”Wait. ” Another girl interrupted.

Then the girl understood she shouldn tell her real name and said, ”You can call me Julie. ”

Another girl introduced herself. ”You can call me Kana. ”

”You can call me Sailor. ”

Om said, ”You can call me Om. I am looking for players to join, so if you don mind, we can join together to form a party. ”

The three girls had no idea that someone who was not Japanese could be so polite and kind. So they nodded quickly to not miss the chance.
