Saving the World from the Chosen ones

After giving a glance over his world that he built through several trail and error, Ian a minor god residing in the heavenly realm thought

My world has been stable for nearly 1500 years I think I can leave them be for a while now.

After creating a world the god doesn always need to look over his world but since this was the first and only world Ian has ever created he gave special attention towards it.

Although a god cannot directly get involved in worldly affairs due to the very heavenly laws preventing them from directly influencing the human world, but it didn stop Ian from directing his people as a guide.

Millions of years ago when the human race was at its infant stage and was already at the brink of its extinction due to ice age.

Ian casted a bolt of lightning on a tree to make the civilization aware of the concept of fire.

When the beasts were constantly evolving he asked a dragon who was in friendly terms with him for help and made his people aware of the concept of Mana.

Thought there were several problems like discrimination , corruption and frequent wars which despite his sneaky guidance he wasn able to solve.

But Ian quickly came to terms with it, Being a god doesn mean he can solve every single problems in the world with a snap of his finger.

He hurridely packed his stuffs as he planned on visiting several different world and enjoy his break after almost millions of year.

Its not like my world will fall apart in my absence Ian thought as he jumped into the dimensional portal to transverse and sightsee different worlds built by his other fellow gods.

ABOUT 100 YEARS LATER

”jeez those fellow old geezers have surely did built something magnificent ” Ian amused.

For the past 100 years he went through several thousands of worlds and planes.

Some of them where at there very infant stages while some already reached the pinnacle of its civilization.

”Although I still prefer my world ” Ian smirked while shaking his head. Although there were several world better and advanced than his world but this statement was similar to asking a parent whether they will trade his own child for their neighbours.

”I wonder how my world is farring ?. I hope I don find half the continent burning. ” Ian laughed while he spoke sarcastically while summoning his magic mirror to take a peek at his world.

A huge smile plastered around Ians face instantaneously disappeared and his whole face turned pale white.

Ian immediately shook his head refusing to believe what he just witnessed.

”I think the magic mirror accidentally showed me some different world which is going through an apocalypse. ” Ian assured himself while making ridiculous excuses.

But deep down Ian already knew what he saw was his own world , this Magic mirror was an Heroic grade Artifact, its impossible for it to make such a big mistake.

Ian hardened his heart and clenched his fist slightly to take a glance at the mirror. And his worst nightmare came to reality, it was indeed his world that he nurtured and looked after for almost a millinea.

”How ?, How did all this happen ? ” Ian scowled for answers as he began searching through the entire continent to look for culprit who turned his Continent into such pitiful state.

After taking nearly a week to scan through the entire continent with his magic mirror, Ian finally found the biggest reason or should he say three biggest reason why his continent was now on the verge of destruction.

Ian kept Surveying these three individuals with burning hatred in his heart. If it wasn for the heavenly laws preventing him he might have rushed in there to snap their necks.

After he took a deeper look into these guilty individuals , Ian soon found several oddities in the action as well as origins of these people.

First of all he felt like he knew and has seen one of them before, and after rummaging through his memory for a while, shriek of horror exclaimed from Ians face as he finally recalled the identity of this said person.

”I..I..Impossible !, No that person is already dead. I saw it with my own eyes when Sword Saint Krugel cleaved his into two in the Ancient Celestial War 7000 years ago. ”

Ian assured himself but reality says otherwise as that said person he claims to be long dead is not only alive and well but also ruling over half of his Continent by filling it with Undeads.

And something even more bizarre than a dead person coming to life happened in front of Ian.

Although however improbable and impossible coming back to life is considered, there can be some explanation like a ” Legendary Life preserving Arrtifact ” or a Forbidden rituals performed demons although the odds of these things happenning is even less than one in a ten billion,but atleast it be can taken into consideration, but what Ian just saw the second culprit do could be considered a taboo not only in his world but the entire heavenly planes.

Although the term system magic or status tracking magic exists in his world he has never seen or even heard of someone increasing their own strength with the help of it.

Many people in the continent don even bother activating it as it doesn make any difference in their strength or skills.

Similar to how one keeps a track of the amount of exercise done by a certain individual while training his body, System/Status magic keeps a track of the wielders current potential, but in often times its also considered pretty unreliable.

For example If a person is considered to have B Rank strength but doesn have the ability or skills to utilise even half of its potential or when a person with C Rank strength is extremely skillful to the point he can exceed his rank and reach even B Rank, on such cases which happen more times than one can imagine these system magic happen to seem pretty unreliable.

But this person can not only increase his strength and skills but can also sneak into other peoples system with just a glance.

”What ? What in the world is happening in here ? ”

Ian cried out loudly.
