[The Strolling Luisina]

Luisina’s daily routine was strolling.

The Diva Luisina who was supposed to be dead officially.

With some information disseminated after the incident, coupled with a simple disguise she learned from Sakurai so that people wouldn’t recognize her, she decided to make strolling as her daily routine on her own accord.

Her destinations were diverse, from ordinary street corners to the knights’ garrison, from inns to weapons stores and other similar stores, and even bases of illegal organizations in the slum.

By using the demon-kin’s power that had been dwelling in her body for some time without hesitation, she paraded around here and there whimsically.

She had been going to the villa area slightly away from the Adventurer Academy these days.

Her destination was a mansion located in the innermost area, that mansion, surrounded by marble walls, was a magnificent western-style mansion that looked like a castle.

“Un.
So good.” (Luisina)

Speaking of what she, who had openly bypassed the guards who were guarding the gate by making use of her acting skills and a maid uniform that she had stolen from a servant who was leaving the mansion, was doing, it was sitting in the courtyard and enjoying a black tea and baked sweets.

Naturally, these were prepared for the owner of the mansion, Luisina just ate them without permission.

“Just why do Tōru and the other two not know how to brew black tea properly? I can’t get through the day without a good cup of black tea.” (Luisina)

With her elbows on the table, slouching, Luisina sullenly spat out her complaints.

Yes, the truth was, Luisina went to the mansion only because she wanted black tea and baked sweets that fit her taste.

She was creeping in this grand mansion just to snitch some snacks.

“And so you keep intruding here without permission?”

“My, you have returned? Welcome back.” (Luisina)

“I am back.
Fufu, to be welcomed by a trespasser is quite amusing.”

The one who appeared in front of the free-spirited Luisina was a woman with long, graceful rose-golden hair tied and was let flowing to the front from the top of her shoulder.

To describe in a few words, she, whose look seemed to have softness and gallantness coexisting together, was a beautiful woman dressed in male clothing.

She was a noblewoman who wore an elegant red swallowtail jacket adorned with gold decorations on her tall – uncharacteristic of a female – body, white riding pants, and thigh-high boots that cover her up to her thighs like military boots.

On her waist was something like a barrel-less pistol grip which was hanged by passing a golden chain through the ring that surrounds the trigger.

And on the bottom of her neck, she wore a laced brooch with a vivid amber, as if to raise her nobility.

Looking only at her clothing, she seemed like a medieval male aristocrat, but the body line that formed from her clothes that tightly hugging her body was that of a well-built, yet well-endowed woman.

She, who had both masculinity like that of a male and feminineness, was the owner of the mansion and a member of the royal lineage, whose name was Julia von Knaust.

“So, what kind of story will you tell me today in exchange for the baked sweets?” (Julia)

“That’s so bothersome…” (Luisina)

“If you are going to dine and dash, I might have you be captured.” (Julia)

Luisina stared at Julia.

Julia, on the other hand, kept a leisurely smile on her face and poured her own share of black tea from the prepared tea set.

Julia demanded Luisina to be her conversation partner as compensation for overlooking her offense.

However, although Luisina wondered why she had to do that just because she wanted to enjoy luxury goods, since many people in this grand mansion, including Julia in front of her, were strong people who did not get influenced by her Blood Mist, she decided to accept the deal because she thought it would be more troublesome if she refused.

But that being said, Luisina was getting sick of it because she was the one who had to provide the topic every time.

“Today is… let’s see.” (Luisina)

Luisina pondered with her arms crossed lightly.
She had talked about a lot of things with Julia.

For example, the secret of her birth, and the existence of Black Sword related to it.

And such things as the information about the executives and the names and positions of their collaborators that she knew of.

Julia asked, “I know I was the one who asked, but are you okay with telling me all of that?” However, for Luisina, who had not even an ounce of care toward her former home, it was a good price to pay for the luxury goods in front of her.

Anyway, she had talked a lot about her past.
Luisina thought she would have no choice but to talk about the present.

And what she couldn’t miss when talking about the present was what happened at the opera house, and about the boy that she met there.

However, the one named as the biggest contributor in settling that incident was a student called Amanai Hayato, not Sakurai Tōru.

That was what Sakurai wanted; it might turn into a problem if she, a sponger, were to ignore his intention.

“Alright.” (Luisina)

After concluding that she should just use Amanai’s name, and decided what to narrate at the end of her indecision, Luisina stood up from her seat and walked to the center of the courtyard.

And then, the solo performance of Diva Luisina began.
The curtain rose to a performance backed by the sophistication of the skills she polished as an opera singer.

Julia told her she could just tell her story normally, but Luisina did it like this every time anyway because she thought it would be a downer if her skills deteriorated.

She danced, sang, and narrated.
In addition, she even used Blood Mist, her ability as a demon-kin, as visual effect.

Blood Mist did not have a brainwashing effect on people with a certain level of ability such as Julia.
However, if taken in large quantities over a long period of time from a close distance, their consciousness would lean toward Luisina, albeit slightly.

The spectacular story spun by the pinnacle of the diva of the time, Luisina, at whom even the level idiot (Sakurai Tōru) took a couple of glances, never ceased to fascinate everyone who saw it.

“That was amazing.” (Julia)

After the performance, Julia praised her with generous applause.

Luisina silently returned to the table and moistened her throat with black tea that had been re-brewed.
After work tea was exceptionally delicious.

“But Amanai Hayato, huh.
Unlike in the reports I received, he sounds like a person who have a very simple goodness.” (Julia)

“That’s right.” (Luisina)

That was a lie.
Luisina did not know even a bit about Amanai’s humaneness.

She simply replaced Sakurai’s name with Amanai, left out his badness, and dramatized his ‘heroicness’.

Still, by highlighting the villains, including herself, ‘Amanai Hayato (protagonist)’ was portrayed as being stronger and more virtuous.

“I feel like he is more suitable to be a knight than an adventurer.
What do you think?” (Julia)

“Don’t care.
I’m not interested in what others thought about and what path they chose.
If you’re curious, just go ask him yourself.” (Luisina)

“Yup, you’re right.
Oddly, the academy festival is held this month.
I’d like to know if he is as strong as you said, so I’ll definitely go see him.” (Julia)

After looking sideways at Julia, who showed in strong interest in her quiet tone, Luisina stared at the bottom of her emptied cup.

She pondered on how she could drink this delicious black tea every day while giving Julia a suitable response whenever she asked her opinion on this and that.

She couldn’t expect this level of skill from the people she sponged off.
She felt like Sakurai would start learning it if she were to seduce him, but the thought of buttering up to him just for that annoyingly irritated her.

“Ah.” (Luisina)

“Hm? Something’s wrong?” (Julia)

“Hey, you.
Teach me how to brew this black tea.” (Luisina)

“How to brew black tea? I don’t mind, but…” (Julia)

After agonizing over it, Luisina came up with an answer, that was, ‘she would brew it herself’.

She wanted to drink it whenever she wanted to, in the first place, so she thought she should just learn it.

That way she could have a good black tea even when she was somewhere far away and couldn’t come here.
And she thought it would be a good way to kill her excessive free time too.

The influence of continuously observing Sakurai striving to raise his level every day began to gradually appear in Luisina.

“Fufu, it’s been a while since I’ve been teaching something to someone, and my heart skips a bit.
Well then, from where should we start?” (Julia)

“Whatever, just be quick, I don’t have much time.
If I don’t come back by dinner, I’ll have to prepare my own meal and Brown will have her brows droop like an abandoned dog, it’s so bothersome, you know.” (Luisina)

“By Brown… you mean Iris-chan? Yeah, let’s have you cram so as not to make her sad.” (Julia)

Julia taught Luisina what she had learned as part of her aristocratic education.

A royalty, Julia, and a diva, Luisina, who had been announced as dead in the opera house incident.

Seen from the side, it looked as if a royal blonde woman was giving a lecture to her personal maid; the scene was shrouded with elegance.
