This session addresses the importance of policy, systems and environmental (PSE) changes in creating environments (schools, hospitals, cities, etc.) that promote health. Many nutrition professionals are tackling obesity and chronic diseases using these strategies. Learn how they can engage in PSE change and apply public health principles within your work setting.

Describe the importance of using multiple strategies from individual to policy levels
List at least three examples of how PSE strategies are making a difference in our nation's communities and how to adapt this approach to own area of practice.
