We know that while childhood obesity is prevalent in the United States, under nutrition is the leading cause of death in many countries around the world. The farm-to-table movement and garden nutrition education is happening in schools across America, yet are we capturing kids to make a lasting impact on health? How do we as nutrition professionals take our knowledge of nutrition and apply it in a way that can have a true impact in garden nutrition education? Learn about when a garden has the greatest impact on a child's life, how to perform a 'soil' or self-analysis to evaluate what you can do to make an impact in your community or across the globe and determine the best interventions that will have a lasting influence on health.
