Medical Nutrition Therapy
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a highly overlooked and undertreated medical condition in women with both reproductive and life-long metabolic consequences. Diet and lifestyle have been established as the primary treatment approaches for PCOS. This lecture will provide the latest medical nutrition therapy updates for managing and treating PCOS. Nutrition recommendations to optimize health and prevent disease, as well as practical strategies RDNs can use with patients will be discussed.
