Nutrition for Sports, Performance, and Fitness
Unsure how to develop a comprehensive plan for helping athletes achieve their weight and body composition goals? This session examines the various sport- and physique-related characteristics that help athletes determine optimal weight and body composition ranges. Through the use of a detailed case study, a four-step process will show how to assess, set goals, develop an action plan, and evaluate the plan to reach health and performance goals tailored to the individual. Planned with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Committee for Professional Development, in collaboration with the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition DPG.
