Like it or not, mobile technology has changed the health and wellness space. With the plethora of health and wellness apps on the market, finding the 'right' one can be challenging. This session will shorten the learning curve by identifying and evaluating mobile apps for content, as well as for more technical aspects such as information sharing, privacy, usability and accessibility.

Evaluate mobile applications, from a content and structural perspective, and the existing literature surrounding efficacy.

Describe the current regulatory environment as it pertains to mobile health and wellness applications.

Identify opportunities to effectively incorporate mobile health and wellness applications in practice to facilitate client success and promote business growth.
